Current Opening - Industrial Insulator
Key Duties:
- Fabricating and installing insulation in industrial settings
- Cutting, fitting, and installing insulation, vapor barrier, metal, PVC jackets, banding, and other components
- Maintaining and operating equipment such as safety equipment, beader crimper, bending brake, banding tools, and other hand and power tools
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment as a member of our team
Industrial Insulator Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of industrial insulator experience
- General knowledge of installation methods and types of insulation systems
- Skilled at cutting, fitting, and installing industrial insulation
- Ability to read and interpret insulation drawings and specifications
- Pre-employment drug screening and MVR screening
- Overtime and occasional travel
- Ability to work up to 12 hours and occasional off-shifts
- Ability to climb and use ladders
- Ability to work at heights with provided safety equipment
- Certification for scissor and boom lifts
- Minimum of 10-hour OSHA certification
- Ability to work in varying industrial environments, including hot and cold
- Ability to lift 75 pounds

- Cut, fit, and install insulation and other components such as vapor barrier, metal or PVC jackets, banding, and other components
- Maintain and operate equipment such as safety equipment and hand tools
- Team player in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment
Industrial Insulator Helper Job Requirements
- Willingness to gain general knowledge of installation methods and types of insulation systems
- Eager to learn required skills for cutting, fitting, and installing industrial insulation
- Overtime and occasional travel
- Ability to work up to 12 hours and occasional off-shifts
- Ability to safely climb and use ladders
- Ability to work at heights with provided safety equipment
- Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification preferred, but will train
- Ability to work in varying industrial environments, including hot and cold, and lift 75 pounds

- Local work area is Cedar Rapids, Iowa
